Jonathan Loraine
Chairman and Non-Executive Director

Jon has been with Core since its inception.

Jon was formerly Executive General Manager Exploration and Development of MIM Holdings Limited, responsible for identification and execution of new business opportunities, exploration, and construction of major projects, technology marketing, and group technical support. Directly accountable for the construction of the Ernest Henry and the George Fisher mines.

Prior to joining MIM, Jon was a member of the executive management team of Normandy Mining Limited, and before that of Consolidated Gold Fields Limited of London. Jon also established and ran a successful London based resources corporate advisory business.

Jon is currently a director and partner of Neuchatel Partners which provides specialist corporate, project and organisational advisory services to the resources, energy and utilities sectors.

Jon has a BSc Mining from London University, and a MBA from Cranfield University, UK.

Peter Rohner
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Peter has been with Core since early 2005, initially with responsibility for marketing the Albion Process Technology and subsequently has played a significant role in securing and then bedding down the acquisition of hrltesting from Xstrata and laying the foundations for the establishment of process engineering capabilities within the group.

Peter is a very experienced metallurgist who was formerly Group Metallurgist for Xstrata, and before MIM Holdings. He has extensive experience in project management, plant commissioning and running metallurgical operations both in Australia and overseas and has been involved in technology development and commercialisation during this time.

Peter has a BSc Metallurgy from The University of Queensland and a Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
