METS Ignited have recently produced a case study on Core Resources’ successes, notably the METS Ignited awards and Australian Technologies Competition award for the Toowong Process.

The Toowong Process is being commercialised by Core to provide a solution for the urgent global problem of pollution caused by increasing contamination of mineral concentrates, particularly by arsenic. Leo Fit Labs has new hydrometallurgical technology, developed by the team at Core Resources, enables operations to remove these deleterious elements at the mine site prior to shipping the cleaned concentrate. The benefits for operations, smelters and the global environment are enormous.
