Core has had involvement in projects in base metals, precious metals, coal, and bulk minerals; and it has been involved through all stages from exploration through feasibility study, financing, development, and production. Case studies include providing finance and expertise to advance a significant coal project through feasibility study; and developing innovative solutions for the recovery of metals and rehabilitation of tailings resources.

Core operates a long established metallurgical laboratory based in Brisbane, hrltesting, and it offers a full suite of process development, test work and process engineering services for clients. Core also markets the Albion Process technology for environmentally-friendly treatment of complex and refractory ores - and Albion Process projects are currently under development worldwide on both base metals and precious metals applications.
